The inheritance of "Andetang" can be traced back to the Kangxi period. According to the Wang family genealogy of Mr. Wang Jianren, the inheritor of the business name, the 20th generation Duke Xuanfu was born in the year of Bingxu (1706) of Kangxi, and was "honored with the eighth rank" and "honored with the title of" Pede "by Confucian doctors who helped the world. The eldest son of the 21st generation, Qingqi, inherited his father's profession of practicing medicine and was known as Lu Bian Zai. The county magistrate awarded him the plaque 'Yang Chun with Feet' and was appointed as a Xiuzhi Lang. The 22nd Duke of Jingjia was known for his straightforwardness, eagerness for justice and righteousness, practice in medical treatment and illness, and was loved by others. In the 26th generation of the Republic of China, Qingjia went to Southeast Asia to establish the Anyangtang Tea Company (later moved back to Zijiang due to war), and continued to do so until the 27th generation of Jinzhan, passed down from   generation to generation.

           Adhering to the original aspiration of sustainable development of "leaving a clean land for future generations", Anxi Taoyuan Organic Tea Plantation Co., Ltd. has continuously passed the national organic tea certification and international HACCP system certification for many years. It is the largest organic Tie Guan Yin production base in China, the first pilot construction unit of digital tea industry in China, the first batch of national organic food production demonstration bases of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the raw material supply base for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics, and a member unit of the National Food and Drug Industry Science and Technology Innovation Alliance.

           In 2014, experts from the Forestry Department of Fujian Province came to the estate to inspect ancient Castanopsis trees preserved in the primeval forest, and accidentally discovered an ancient tree that was identified as Salix matsudana. At that time, the development time of Qingqianliushu in China was not long, and there was insufficient in-depth research on its hypoglycemic mechanism and main hypoglycemic active ingredients, especially in terms of gene decoding, effective molecule screening, how to ensure the intake of effective ingredients, and compatibility with other traditional Chinese medicine.

           In 2015, we collaborated with Nanjing Forestry University to conduct research on the breeding, cultivation, and scientific research of Salix matsudana in an organic tea plantation. After years of research and development, we selected the most suitable varieties for the local climate and soil conditions, and extensively planted Salix matsudana in organic tea gardens. We also provided free Salix matsudana seedlings to nearly 10000 households in five towns in Anxi County, including Taozhou, Gande, Changqing, Huqiu, and Jingu. We also planted 300000 Salix matsudsudana trees on a large scale in tea gardens, driving people's income growth and empowering rural revitalization.

           In 2020, the expert team carried out genome-wide, transcriptome and metabolomic analysis of Cyclocarya paliurus plants. Through research, it was found that Cyclocarya paliurus leaf extract could promote insulin secretion in type II diabetes rats, reduce blood sugar and glycosylated hemoglobin, improve impaired glucose tolerance, and reduce islet cell damage; Cyclocarya paliurus polysaccharide can reduce the blood sugar level of alloxan induced diabetes mice, and has a certain protective effect on pancreatic islet tissue damage; Total triterpenoids from Qingqianliu can promote glucose consumption in adipocytes and exert hypoglycemic effects; Cyclocarya paliurus flavonoids can significantly reduce fasting blood glucose in diabetes mice.

           In 2022, under the leadership of the Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the small-scale and pilot trials of Tang Xiaoliu brand Qingqian Liugegen capsule compound were completed. The Tianjin Center for Disease Control and Prevention was commissioned to conduct safety toxicology tests, functional tests, efficacy ingredient identification, hygiene inspection, stability tests, human ethics evaluation, as well as animal functional tests and human food tasting tests. The drafting and formulation of the "Qingqianliu Tea" group standard and the "Qingqianliu Tea Processing Technology Requirements" local standard in Fujian Province have filled the standard gap for Qingqianliu Tea.

           The company has invested 200 million yuan to plan the construction of a GAP demonstration cultivation center for Qingqianliu, a research and development center for Qingqianliu hypoglycemic products, a Qingqianliu biotechnology exchange center, a Qingqianliu extraction center, and a Qingqianliu series health food production center. It has also partnered with Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University to establish a tea processing technology integration research base project, focusing on the extraction of functional ingredients and value-added transformation of extracts from tea, Qingqianliu, various Chinese herbal medicines, and food and medicine products. The project aims to develop a series of functional food and medicine products, and build the company's biopharmaceutical research and development base, scientific research talent training base, and technology incubation base for functional foods.

           In 2023, the company will explore the efficacy of tea elements such as theaflavins, tea polysaccharides, and tea polyphenols, and use medicinal herbs such as Qingqianliu, Fuling, and Pueraria lobata, combined with the characteristics of small molecule peptides such as goose peptide, oyster peptide, and corn oligopeptide, to combine traditional Chinese medicine with modern biotechnology and develop the Andetang series of products such as Tangxiaoliu brand Qingqianliu soybean peptide tablets, Qifengxian brand Fuling Pueraria lobata goose peptide tablets, and Ganganjing brand Zhizi oyster peptide tablets, expanding a path of health with medicinal herbs.
